April marked a major milestone for the Platinum Developments Beach Front Villa project as the full structural shell of the residence was officially completed. With all primary concrete works now finalized, the project has successfully transitioned into the finishing and systems integration phase of construction.
Throughout the month, significant progress was made across the interior buildout. Major focus was placed on the installation of cement board assemblies and gypsum drywall systems throughout the residence, forming the foundation for the next stages of architectural detailing and interior finishing.
In parallel, extensive surface preparation and sanding operations were carried out to achieve the refined smooth concrete aesthetic specified throughout key areas of the project. This process required substantial detailing and precision to ensure consistency across walls, ceilings, and structural surfaces ahead of final coatings and finishes.
The design development phase for the kitchens and bathrooms also advanced considerably during April. Final layouts, material selections, and integrated design details were coordinated while procurement activities officially began for several premium natural stone slabs and imported finish materials that will define the residence’s interior character.
Roof preparation and infrastructure work for the estate’s renewable energy systems also commenced this month. Painting and protective preparation of the roof structure is now underway in anticipation of the upcoming solar panel installation, continuing the project’s focus on integrating high performance sustainable technologies into the property.
Additional progress included the completion and final verification of measurements for all major glazing systems and interior door packages. These finalized dimensions now allow fabrication and procurement to proceed for several custom architectural elements throughout the residence.
